Wedgewood Social Justice Book Club
The Wedgewood Social Justice Book Club will kick off the new year on Thursday, September 26 at 7 pm on Zoom. This spring, we selected James by Percival Everett, an action-packed reimagining of The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. The book offers a harrowing yet humorous perspective, told from the viewpoint of the enslaved Jim.
For our first meeting, we’ll be discussing chapters 1-4. Our book club is open to both church members and non-members, so please feel free to invite your friends to join us. We meet biweekly.
